About this tool

Fix a scan that came out sideways or upside down. Rotation is written into the page itself, so the file opens the right way up in every viewer, and nothing is re-rendered: text, images and vector content are untouched. Rotate the whole document or only the pages that need it.

How to use it

  1. Drop one PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to rotate, or leave all.
  3. Choose 90 degrees clockwise, 180, or 90 counter-clockwise, and click Rotate PDF.

Questions

Is rotating lossless?

Yes. Only the page's rotation attribute changes; the content is not converted or recompressed.

Can I rotate a single page?

Yes. Enter its number in the Pages field and leave the rest of the document alone.

Why does my viewer still show it sideways?

Some viewers remember a per-session view rotation. Close and reopen the file, or check it in a different viewer.
