About this tool
Mark a document so its status is obvious on every page: a draft that should not be quoted, a confidential report, a sample not for reuse. The text runs diagonally across each page at the visibility you choose, and the underlying content stays readable and selectable.
How to use it
- Drop one PDF.
- Type the watermark text. CONFIDENTIAL is filled in as a starting point.
- Choose subtle, balanced or strong, and click Add watermark.
Questions
Can the watermark be removed later?
It is an ordinary page element, so someone with editing software could remove it. Use it as a label, not as protection; combine it with a password if you need control.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Not directly. Split the document, watermark the part you need, then merge it back.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. The text is drawn over each page regardless of what the page contains.
